In a bold move signaling a strategic shift, the Republican National Committee (RNC) under the helm of Lara Trump has announced a partnership with conservative firebrand Scott Presler to boost voter engagement leading up to the pivotal 2024 Presidential Election.
Lara Trump, newly appointed co-chair of the RNC, revealed the collaboration, emphasizing Presler’s track record of energizing conservative voters through extensive voter registration efforts and educational workshops nationwide.
Presler’s role will extend to spearheading the RNC’s ballot-chasing initiatives, a tactic traditionally associated with Democrats, which Republicans believe will level the electoral playing field currently tipped in favor of their opponents.
In an exclusive interview with Benny Johnson on the Benny Johnson Show, Lara Trump underscored the significance of embracing legal ballot harvesting as part of the GOP’s arsenal, marking a departure from past strategies. Trump expressed admiration for Presler’s prowess in voter mobilization, heralding his inclusion in the RNC’s ballot harvesting division.
“I think he’s fantastic. I want him on our legal ballot harvesting division,” declared Trump, highlighting Presler’s pivotal role in executing the party’s voter outreach strategy.
Trump also outlined the RNC’s comprehensive election playbook designed to ensure victory for Donald J. Trump, the GOP’s nominee, over Democratic incumbent President Joe Biden come November.
Key components of the strategy include early voting initiatives, establishment of an election integrity division, rigorous poll worker training, and the recruitment of seasoned legal professionals, according to Trump.
The RNC’s recent leadership shake-up saw Lara Trump and Michael Whatley assume co-chair and chairman roles, respectively, with the appointment of Chris LaCivita, a seasoned Trump campaign advisor, as director of operations.
