Charlotte, North Carolina, was rocked by a violent incident on Monday afternoon, with at least eight law enforcement officers shot during a warrant service operation. Shockingly, three U.S. Marshals lost their lives in the line of duty.

The chaos unfolded as officers attempted to execute a warrant, only to be met with a hail of gunfire. In the exchange, officers returned fire, ultimately neutralizing the suspect, who was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by CMPD Chief Johnny Jennings. Two individuals found inside the residence are currently under interrogation, according to reports from the Charlotte Observer.
