Saint John’s County has proven to have some of the most contentious elections happening anywhere in the nation. Florida’s wealthiest county is also one of the nation’s fastest growing counties. The Indivisible duo of Lisa Gaglianese and Angelica Gross has led the charge to replace the existing county commission with challengers. The challengers are campaigning on a “stop overdevelopment” or “slow growth” platform.
Common sense tells me that Saint Johns County wouldn’t be experiencing historic growth if it wasn’t an exceptional place. People simply don’t voluntarily move to places that are undesirable. The fact that Saint Johns County is one of the fastest growing counties in America tells me that it is one of the best counties in America. The current county commissioners deserve acknowledgement for that.
Take for example County Commission candidate Ann Taylor’s website. She states that once elected she will vote with current commissioner Krista Joseph.
The rhetoric from the Taylor campaign has certainly intensified, with Taylor’s husband leaning into the boogeyman of developers, and accusing myself and the DC Patriot of being paid by developers.
The Taylor campaign has also ranted in an unhinged manner about the unauthorized voter guides that were distributed in Saint Johns County over the weekend.
While the Taylor camp is correct that these guides are mysterious and unauthorized, they lost me with the next point they were trying to prove. They went as far as to speak against President Trump’s own words by calling the Trump Club of Saint Johns County fake. (It is worth noting that DC Patriot founder Matt Couch is one of the largest pro Trump voices on the internet an has received hand written communication from Donald Trump on multiple occasions)
If you notice the exact words of Mr. Taylor he calls the Trump Club of Saint Johns County “fake”. A mere 2 days after Mr. Taylor posted this message, Donald Trump himself acknowledged the Trump Club of Saint Johns County.
With large controversy surrounding the endorsements of the Saint Johns County GOP, as well as fraudulent voter guides mailed out, I would encourage the voters of Saint Johns County to discard any and all voters guides and to rely on the words of the 45th President of The United States. His words are simple. A vote for Ann Taylor, Anne Marie-Evans or Clay Murphy is a vote against Donald Trump.
Jeffrey Taylor claims that the Trump Club endorsements are an embarrassment to the MAGA movement. Oddly, he made this claim after Donald Trump himself personally endorsed the same candidates. Apparently, the Taylor campaign does not believe that Donald Trump himself is MAGA.
Will the Taylor campaign continue to work directly against President Trump, or has this been their intention all along? Working against Donald Trump would certainly be in line with the motives of Indivisible. It will be interesting to see how much more vitriol they can spew over the next 7 days.
I have faith that the voters of Saint Johns County will be able to see through the deceptions in these races and support MAGA in the voting booth.

Mr. Taylor,
1. The REC is prohibited from making endorsements prior to the Primary Election. This pits republicans against republicans.
2. If you think the Trump Club of St John’s County is “flush” with cash, think again. The amount shown has been raised over the last 8 years. With most going to help conservative candidates.
3. Trump Club members were invited to participate in the vetting process of candidates. However, not a single person stepped up to the task. This happened for several elections.
4. Mr Taylor, are you insinuating that the Trump Club sent out the fake voters guides? You are sorely mistaken. Maybe the “Indivisibles” wanted to stir the pot?
5. Growth cannot, and I repeat, cannot be stopped. It can be; however, controlled as the incumbents have been doing. It seems nothing is ever brought out by the “Indivisibles” that most of the growth and development you are seeing now was approved in the early 2000s.
In my opinion, the “Ann’s” are just puppets, or lemmings being lead to the edge.
I continue praying for the voters in SJC to have discernment for 2024 Primary.
