Politifi seems to be the new rage on many social media platforms including X and Telegram. Crypto currency has been a viral topic for many years, but the new breed of Politifi is far from your grandfather’s Bitcoin.

With a market cap of over 1.5 billion dollars, Politifi is here to stay. The majority of the Politifi coins trade on the Solana blockchain. Their value is in the content that they produce. Politifi can be described as having the entertainment value of Southpark mixed with the amazing story lines of the WWE. Politifi doesn’t end there, however. It could be successfully argued that in addition to pure entertainment value, Politifi engages in political activism that rivals anything seen since the Tea Party.

These meme coins hold inherent value in information. This information is produced as content which is then distributed in a viral manner. The values of the coins rise and fall based on the buy/sell activity on the open market. The more content that is consumed, the more sell orders are placed for a coin. Prices for a coin rise with demand, as each coin is limited to a finite amount in existence.

These are far from “pump and dump” scam coins, as many of these coins have been in existence for years and have very active communities behind them. Many of the coins are Pro-Trump, such as Pepe Trump. Although not directly connected to Donald Trump, these coins do directly reflect Trump’s recent commitment to Libertarians that he will protect the crypto space.

There are also parody coins on the other side of the aisle which represent other public figures outside of the Oval Office. Even AOC has her own coin.

Tucker Carlson is also represented by the coin Tooker Kurlson. The Tooker coin currently has a market cap in excess of 75 million dollars and has traded nearly 2.5 million dollars over the past 24 hours.

Andrew Breitbart once famously stated that politics is downstream from culture, however with the development of Politifi, politics appears to be creating culture. The political engagement of this segment of the crypto community appears to be developing from online activism to real world activism.

$laptop, the parody coin of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop recently posted that they were looking for real world activists in the Philadelphia area and were willing to pay via the coin.
