As Good Friday approaches, Americans wonder about the operational status of essential services.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has confirmed to USA TODAY that its facilities will maintain regular operations on March 29. This means that USPS facilities will remain open for retail transactions, and mail delivery will proceed without disruption.

But what about banks? Fear not, as major banking institutions like Capital One, Bank of America, CitiBank, and JPMorgan Chase have assured USA TODAY that their branches will be open on Good Friday. Americans can conduct their banking affairs as usual during the holiday.

And what about package deliveries? Both UPS and FedEx have announced that their pickup and delivery services will be available on Good Friday. This means that customers can expect their packages to be delivered on time, as UPS Store and FedEx Office locations will also remain open for business.
