Nikki Haley might have won the DC Republican primary last night, but Trump is expected to have an even bigger win in DC later today.
The Supreme Court has indicated it will issue rulings on Monday, and many anticipate that there will be a decision on whether Colorado has the right to remove former President Donald Trump from the ballot under what has been described as the insurrection clause of the 14th amendment.

Enacted in the wake of the Civil War, Section 3 of the Constitution’s 14th Amendment says people are not eligible to serve in government if they “engaged in insurrection.”
Since Colorado’s actions, two other states have similarly attempted to remove Trump from the ballot. Both Maine and, most recently, Illinois have made such attempts, a move many have called election interference.

With Super Tuesday being just a day away, the timing seems ripe for this significant ruling from the high court. Legal holds have been placed on all state actions pending the outcome of the ruling.
The U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments on Feb. 8, and many speculated that the court was going to side with Trump.

The Supreme Court’s decisions on Monday will come on a day that is not scheduled on the court calendar as a ruling day. As a result, the justices will not be in the courtroom to announce any decisions, as they normally would be.
The court noted on its website on Sunday afternoon that rulings are expected.
