Independent presidential contender Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., weighed in on whether President Biden should consider stepping aside after a special counsel’s report raised concerns about his cognitive abilities.
Kennedy, speaking to Fox News, suggested that if he were in Biden’s shoes and faced similar cognitive challenges, he would hope for a gentle nudge from a family member or staff to gracefully exit the political arena.

“If he indeed faces cognitive challenges as indicated by the special counsel, I would expect someone close to him to gently suggest stepping down,” Kennedy remarked on “Jesse Watters Primetime.”
When asked if First Lady Jill Biden should play such a role, Kennedy concurred, adding that if Biden intends to pursue re-election, he must engage in unscripted public discussions and debates with opponents.

“He needs to address critical issues like border security, rebuilding the middle class, ending endless wars, and tackling corporate influence,” Kennedy emphasized. “We need a president who’s sharp and can be trusted to handle emergencies.”
Meanwhile, speculation swirled within Democratic circles about potential replacements for Biden, with names like Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer surfacing in discussions among top party donors, as reported by The Washington Post.
