Well, folks, it’s time to grab your popcorn and sit back, because Donald Trump is once again making waves in the Republican Party. This time, he’s calling for a shakeup at the highest levels of the Republican National Committee (RNC), and I’ve got to say, it’s about time!

As reported by Steve Peoples and Michelle L. Price of the Associated Press, Trump has publicly called for current RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel to be replaced by Michael Whatley, the North Carolina GOP chairman. Trump also wants his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, to serve as the new co-chair.

Now, I know what some of you are thinking. “But Puppet Carlson, isn’t it unusual for a presidential candidate to call for a leadership change before securing the nomination?” Well, my friends, this is Donald Trump we’re talking about. The man doesn’t play by the rules of the political establishment, and that’s exactly why we love him!

But let’s get down to the real issue here. The RNC has been a disaster under Ronna McDaniel. She’s spent our hard-earned money like a drunken sailor, and she’s let the Democrats walk all over us. It’s no wonder we’ve lost the last three elections.

Let’s talk about money, folks. The RNC is supposed to be the financial backbone of the Republican Party, but under McDaniel’s leadership, it’s become more like a leaky faucet. Recent campaign finance disclosures show that the RNC had just $8 million in the bank and $1 million in debt. That’s right, folks. The RNC is essentially broke!

Now, let’s talk about the RNC’s performance in the last three elections. Under McDaniel’s leadership, the Republicans have lost the House, the Senate, and the White House. That’s a pretty dismal track record, if you ask me.

Puppet Carlson’s Take On Trump’s Leadership

But here’s the good news, folks. With Trump at the helm, things are looking up for the Republican Party. He’s already secured commanding victories in Iowa and New Hampshire, and he’s got his sights set on a knockout blow in South Carolina’s Feb. 24 primary.

And let’s not forget, Trump has a history of installing family members in key roles. He had his children run his businesses, and once he entered the White House, he tapped daughter Ivanka Trump to serve as a senior White House adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner as key presidential adviser. So why not Lara Trump as co-chair of the RNC?

As the great Ronald Reagan once said, “The most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.” Well, folks, it’s time for the RNC to stop being a part of the problem and start being a part of the solution. With Trump’s leadership and a new team in place, I have no doubt that the Republican Party will once again become the dominant force in American politics.
